Haylenbox is a foldable, stackable, colorful silicone food storage container. It complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and is constructed from FDA-compliant food-grade silicone, free from BPA and BPS, and safe for microwave use. What is it made of?
We make it from premium food-grade silicone, not plastic. Silicone is a strong, flexible, and durable material that can withstand extreme high and low temperatures without bending or cracking, making it extremely durable. Can it be used in a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and oven?
This product is safe for use in microwave ovens, dishwashers, and refrigerators/freezers; operating temperature range: -40℃ ~ 220℃. We recommend hand washing the lid to extend its lifespan and prevent deformation from prolonged use in a high-temperature dishwasher. Flat storage boxes should not be placed in the oven, as the plastic parts below the rim (used to maintain the container's rigidity) will melt in the oven.
Can flat storage boxes hold easily crushed foods?
Yes, you can store soft foods and liquids such as soups in flat storage boxes; however, you need to be careful not to place excessively heavy items on top of the container, as this may cause the container to collapse and compress the food or liquid inside. If you are carrying liquids or pressurized foods in a backpack or bag, please be extra careful not to apply excessive weight or pressure to the container, as this may cause the valve seal at the top to warp upwards, resulting in leakage.
